what it is

With a custom program, we work with you to develop a learning plan that meets your child’s specific needs, whether you’re looking for enrichment, remediation, catch-up, or support with an independent project. We’ll find out what you would like the focus of learning to be, what formats of instruction might work best, what amount of instruction you’d like, as well as how many hours per week you’d like your child to be engaged in the plan.

From there, we’ll put together a selection of learning resources, activities, and suggested work or problems, along with a schedule. If you’re interested in including one-on-one sessions with an instructor via video conference, we will schedule that as well.

We can support elementary and high school students with a variety of topics, both within and beyond the Ontario Curriculum. Below is a sampling of topics we can help with. Please reach out to us if you’d like help with something that you don’t see below!

format

The format of your learning plan will be tailored to your preferences, availability, and access to resources. The most popular options will involve a mix of internet resources and print-outs, as well as your preferred frequency of video conferencing. We’ll work with you to figure out what will work best for you and/or your child.

pricing

Due to the custom nature of this service, costs will vary depending on the type of plan you would like to put in place. While there are ways to reduce costs, our typical starting rates are $60 per hour of one-on-one video conferencing, and $40 per hour spent assessing or developing curriculum.
